St Margaret's, opened in 1827, was the first Roman Catholic Church in Ayrshire since the Reformation.

My grandparents lived in elba street in about 1896 and were parishioners at st Margaret they lost there first born baby Mary and went on to have five more children i wondered if there were any records in the parish archives my grandad was a jockey and raced at ay r they were Edward and margare t Cunningham thank you Mrs teres a roe
