Lovely to see Rozelle pond - where is that exactly? I live in Maybole and don't recall seeing it; am I getting confused with Belleisle? Probably

Ruth, you might well be. Coming into Ayr on Monument Road past Burns Cottage, you have Bellisle on the left and Rozelle on the right. Shortly after you turn into the Rozelle drive, the pond is down to the left. In fact there are two ponds linked to each other. This photo is of the lower pond.
Thanks for that information, think I might check it out this weekend. Forgot to say that I know Christine through Cursillo, in fact she was my BOSS (or grand fromage) for the weekend in August just past!
