Italy - Puglia - Alberobello

On the Monday we toured further inland and visited Alberobello, the capital of the Trulli region. These structures are unique to this area of Italy and wer originally built this way to allow them to be easily deconstructed and rebuilt - meant that taxes were not levied on them so nothing changes!

The first photo is a general view of the old town of Alberobello.

The second photo is a close up of the construction of the roof.

The third photo is of the inside of the Trulli Church.

I will be uploading all the photos in due course and bit by bit to my Flickr account.
