The first was very close to the fountain, the second is on the cliff-top walk, where the trees tend to be distorted during growth by the wind.


Since I didn't see any photographic record for Ayrshire, I thought I'd put one up.

Your firt picture is so pretty! I love the "daintiness" of the butterfly's legs..they look so fragile! The second photo is quite a contrast! Those trees look like they might be included in one of those novels where a mystery has been discovered....
