Since I didn't see any photographic record for Ayrshire, I thought I'd put one up.

I had never heard of "wigeons" before! As I read a little about them, it is nice to see that they are making a comeback. It is so sad to see a species dying out.

One of Jan's pieces was chosen for the 2007 Audubon collection for Christmas.
It is so interesting to see the birds that inhabit faraway places. It seems the wigeons spend time very far north in the spring and summer months!
