.... and I'm not talking about the Turkey.
This little fellow has decorated our Christmas Tree for a few years now. It wouldn't be the same without him, even if he is a bit the worse for wear now.
To those who are already on Christmas Day and to those (like me) still awaiting its coming, best wishes for a peaceful and healthy year to come.

That's the kind of decoration I like - full of character!
A very happy Christmas to you and yours :)
When I was a little girl, my mother received some gorgeous ornaments from a friend of hers. The ornaments were amongst the most beautiful we had ever seen...one was a blown glass bird with a tail made from fiber similar to the fiber optics contraptions one sees nowdays. Every year, my mother would carefully...meticulously clip that little bird onto a tree branch.
Birds are so natural in trees, and they do love conifers! Your bird is very sweet and I would venture it holds some very wonderful memories of Christmases past!
You have given me an idea for a blog posting....hope you don't mind! (imitation is the highest form of flattery, n'est pas?)
Merry Christmas!!
Katya,
Oui, c'est vrai; Merci beaucoup!
A joyous and peaceful Christmas to all.
