I feel so bad when I go out and find a stray neighborhood cat has gotten one of the birds from my feeders. I feel like I'm luring the birds here for catfood. It's all a part of nature I guess.
Oh NO! Do the birds have an "early-warning" system in place?
Kitty has pretty markings, BTW!
Apart from the hatching period when some young birds fall prey to the neighbourhood cats, I've never seen a bird caught - except once by a sparrowhawk.
There are two cats like this who come round - only realised it when I saw both at the same time!
