Scottish Borders

Still from my birding holiday, today's photograph was taken from a wood in the Scottish Borders looking towards the Eildon Hills.

A beautiful place with a great view! Wow! It really is very nice!

Do you ever visit the Isle of Lewis? I have several Alice Starmore knitting books and there are many pictures from that region, as that is where she lives. (I was looking at knitting books today...can you tell?)

Ah beautiful. From what I've seen of the Borders there's plenty to see - you kind of get the impression that it's only the Highlands that has the gorgeous scenery, but there's plenty down south too!

Lara, I've never been to Lewis but am off to Harris soon. I can't wait - they both look amazing from photos, can't wait to see them in the flesh!
