Taking photos like these are the icing on the cake....IE, when subjects come to you (or your home!)
I took a look at your blog yesterday on my cell phone, but always like to have a better look on the laptop. I also cannot comment from the cell.
As I was looking at the photos, I said aloud, "blue tits", to which Michelle commented (aghast) "THAT is just so wrong!" I then explained I had NOT gone awry and was only taking about little birds found in UK! To which she responded, "OH!"....then said that is a strange name for a bird!
What does Michelle make of 'Great Tits' then!
Not to mention 'Coal Tits', 'Bearded Tits', 'Crested Tits', 'Marsh Tits' and 'Willow Tits'.
Michelle was rather amazed as I read the list...Speechless, she was...totally speechless!
GBS said that 'England and America are two countries divided by a common language'. Get Michelle to look at this site which explains a little.
